Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer focused on backend development, you will:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems.
- Create and manage robust APIs to support various front-end and third-party applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, JavaScript, etc.).
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating them into projects when applicable.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, JavaScript, or similar.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Solid understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Previous experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
